The name of this pair was inspired by the double loops of copper wire marrying the lampwork beads, and the hand-tooled look of the pattern I got on my charms.
The charms began as a piece of copper sheet that were etched, sawn, and patinated to bring out the detail, and finally domed to give them shape.
Artisan crafted lampwork beads sit above the charms, secured with my handmade copper earwires. These beads were chosen because their subtle streakiness and color reminded me of well-tanned leather, to complete the look.
Lazy 8's drop right around 2 3/4" from to top of the ear wire to the lowest point on my charms. The charms are 1 1/4" wide at their widest point.
